Szabó Csaba

SU Hungarian Ambassador, head of SU Global Impact Competition CEE&SEE

Csaba is a GSP11 graduate of Singularity University (SU). Building on his own entrepreneurial experience and business network, he helps spread the SU philosophy in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. As an SU Ambassador, Csaba works on creating a “bridge” between the CEE region and Silicon Valley in order to help CEE startups to bootstrap and to address humanity’s grand challenges.

He is a member and opinion leader of the Hungarian startup community. Besides founding Startup Underground (2008), his main professional achievements include: INSIDER blog (2011, together with founder Halaska Gábor) and the first Hungarian incubator programme, the Valley-Connect program (2011, together with Weiszbart Zsolt). During 2011 he assisted in creating a term sheet in value of almost nearly 1 billion HUF and worked hard to help startups raise capital. The startups he supported succesfully are: IVANKA (luxury beton), Laokoon (moving fabric) and Distinction (mobil applications).

Weiszbart Zsolt

Zsolt is a founder of Valley Connect Hungary’s first seed investor and incubator.(facebook.com/valleyconnect).
He is a graduate of Stanford University Graduate School of Business focusing on enterpreneurship. In his day job he serves as the managing director of IFS Hungary Kft, the local subsidy of the Europe’s second largest ERP player.(www.ifsworld.com)

Nagy Andrea Éva

Andrea manages communications for the first Global Impact Competition CEE&SEE. She holds a masters from University of San Francisco and works as PR and marketing manager for a property development company. Previously she held managing positions in the government sector in the field of public affairs.

Patrick McCullough

An award-winning filmmaker, Patrick founded Filmmakers Ink, a filmmaking training program in the USA, now in it’s 8th year. He is currently working with WOW! Media and consulting in the Hungarian Film Industry.

David Trayford

Advisor

David is Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the European Entrepreneurship Foundation specialising in Presentation Training. As Managing Director of Wow Media kft he hosts private corporate events and training for many of the world’s largest companies.

Roland Mányai

Head of Events and strategy advisor

Roland organized SU Global Impact CEE&SEE FINALS, 2012 with huge success. As also a TEDx organizer, Roland is passionate about innovation, spreading ideas and creating networks and programs that improve our way of living.
Previously, Roland gained experiences both in public and private sectors in Hungary and abroad. Roland (as head of department) was actively involved in a two billion euro fund program planning and execution process, later directed sport, cultural and tourist events (TEDxDanubia, Triathlon World Championship), was vice president of the Hungarian Tourism Association, and had also worked as an OECD Tourism Committee member.
He is currently marketing director of Leonar3Do International and organizer of TEDxDanubia.

Peter Szerémi

Peter co-ordinated the Finals as stage-master. He is a Stanford alumni, who works as communications consultant at Emotional Dynamics, helping his clients express their thoughts in a convincing manner. His main activity is coaching executives for public speaking and media appearances.
