Csaba Szabó

Founder of SU Global Impact Competition CEE & SEE

Csaba is a GSP11 graduate of Singularity University (SU). Building on his own entrepreneurial experience and business network, he helps spread the SU philosophy in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. As an SU Ambassador, Csaba works on creating a “bridge” between the CEE region and Silicon Valley in order to help CEE startups to bootstrap and to address humanity’s grand challenges.

Botond Bognár

SU Ambassador to Hungary

Botond is an Alumnus of Singularity University’s Executive Program and ever since an active member of the organizing team. While his background is in development, his true passion is to nurture and promote creative talent to the local and international crowd at Villa Budapest due to open in 2014.

Zsolt Weiszbart

Investor Relations

Zsolt is a founder of Valley Connect, Hungary’s first seed investor and incubator. He is a graduate of Stanford University Graduate School of Business focusing on enterpreneurship. In his day job he serves as the managing director of IFS Hungary Kft, the local subsidiary of the Europe’s second largest ERP player.

Alex Horváth

Coordination

Alex is an experienced management consultant who worked for various clients in the corporate and government/non-profit sectors. He has also been involved with a number of start-ups, helping in market assessment, business planning and project management. Alex holds an MBA degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management where he majored in entrepreneurship and finance.

David Trayford

Team Project Coach

David is Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the European Entrepreneurship Foundation, and mentors for Seedcamp and Pioneers Festival. As Managing Director of WOW Media he hosts private corporate events and training for many of the world’s largest companies. He recently founded thehub.hu in Budapest - Central Europe’s newest, best connected co-working space.

Patrick McCullough

Presentation Advisor, Communications

An award-winning filmmaker, Patrick founded Filmmakers Ink, a filmmaking training program in the USA, now in its 9th year. He is currently working in the Hungarian Film Industry and consulting Startups, focusing on Media and Message.

Peter Szerémi

Communications

Peter co-ordinated the Finals as stage-master. He is a Stanford alumni, who works as communications consultant at Emotional Dynamics, helping his clients express their thoughts in a convincing manner. His main activity is coaching executives for public speaking and media appearances.

Andrea Éva Nagy

Communications

Andrea manages communications for the Global Impact Competition CEE & Turkey. She holds a masters from University of San Francisco and manager her own strategic communications company, PR Manufactory. Previously she held managing positions in the government sector in the field of public affairs, worked for NATO headquarters in Norfolk, VA (USA) and served as spokesperson as well as liaison for gender issues in Afghanistan.
